But, don’t just take our word for it. That’s why we’ve connected with Dean, our Payouts Processor and reigning Employee of the Month champion to offer a firsthand perspective into the culture at Marsh Finance.

Hi Dean, firstly thank you for taking the time to speak with us. Let’s start with an easy one, how long have you worked at Marsh Finance?

I’ve been with Marsh Finance for about seven months now, and I can genuinely say it’s been a great, I am really happy here. Time has flown by while learning the ropes and getting to know my team. Every day brings something new.

Since joining, what does your average day look like?

So, my typical day at Marsh Finance revolves around checking payout deals for our customers. I spend my time going through each through deals, making sure everything’s correct and good to go. It’s like being a deal detective, ensuring accuracy and that our customers get the best.

It’s like being part of this a supportive family; no one’s ever left out, and there’s always an event on that supports you, from PA for a Day, parties, free lunches each month, to Employee of the Month, and various committees you can join. They give back a lot, which I’ve not found before.

Since day one, my job satisfaction has skyrocketed. I always have the feeling of having my back covered, and this feeling is only increasing.

What is your previous work experience?

I spent a whopping 12 years at Argos, before moving to O2 for a new adventure.

Whilst at Argos, I also had my own startup hog roast business, and I even did some stewarding for Oldham Athletic. It’s been a whirlwind of different roles and experiences, each teaching me something unique along the way. But now, here at Marsh, it feels like the perfect fit for the next chapter of my career!

And finally, if you could have dinner with 3 people, dead or alive – who would you pick and why?

First up, Robin Williams—he was a comedic legend! His energy and wit were unrivalled, and I bet chatting with him would have me in stitches the whole time. Then there’s Chester Bennington, the voice behind Linkin Park, and an icon in the music industry. And finally, I’d like to speak to an ancestor of mine. I’m talking way back. It’d be fascinating to hear their stories and see where I came from and how our family has evolved.
