On 12th July 2023, Marsh Finance welcomed Gift-a-Tree founder Andy meet with our staff and share his fascinating story with us at Marsh HQ. We were delighted to welcome him to further our commitment to sustainability. Marsh Finance recognises its climate responsibility and is actively taking steps to give back to the environment both at home and abroad. Marsh Finance x Gift-a-Tree
Gift-a-Tree is an organisation focused on re-wilding our landscapes. Through planting trees, ecosystems can thrive, and rare animals can return to our fields. Gift-a-Tree does exactly what it says, plants trees. Customers can buy a tree, receive images of it and name it, as well as visit it in person using a specific What 3 Words code. This interactivity is a fantastic way of getting people into tree planting and benefiting the environment as a result. Marsh Finance is proud to be partnered with such a fantastic cause.
Andy explained to us his personal journey and how that brought him to tree planting, as well as the successes he has seen so far. This was inspiring for our staff and has left many wanting to visit his farm in Devon! He later explained how Marsh Finance could help. To date, Marsh has successfully planted 20,000 trees, proudly showcasing our unwavering dedication to the cause. This accomplishment not only reflects our commitment but also fuels our ambition to expand our flourishing tree collection even more in the future. As part of this major purchase, Marsh is excited to introduce a fantastic scheme for new customers. Through this initiative new finance customers will receive a tree planted in their honor, accompanied by a personalised certificate featuring a unique What3Words link. As the partnership with our customer grows, so does the tree, and we feel this is a fantastic symbol of our commitment to those around us. This scheme is due launch soon, so keep your eyes peeled!
