DCA (Discretionary Commission Arrangement) Support
Following the most recent update from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), a further extension has been announced to the rules that apply to certain motor finance commission complaints.
The FCA is continuing its review of historical discretionary commission arrangements and has confirmed that firms are not required to issue a final response before 31 May 2026 for complaints that fall under these rules. This means your complaint may take longer than usual for us to resolve. We will continue to investigate your complaint and collect all necessary information so we can respond as soon as we are able to.
The FCA has also confirmed that it expects to announce its next steps in February or March 2026.
Depending on when a final response is issued, some customers may have longer than the usual 6 months to refer their complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service. We will make this clear in your final response if it applies to you. To find out more information about the FCA motor commission review, visit their website.
